Sophomore (2010):

Despite being limited to 13 games and six starts due to injury, Garofalo was a key member of the Emory defense, which finished fourth among all NCAA Division III teams with a school-record 0.41 goals-against average.  As a unit, the Emory backfield set a school records with nine-consecutive shutouts from from September 5th - October 9th and 13 shutouts overall, while limiting opponents to 5.1 shots on goal per game.  Garofalo's one goal on the season was a game winner, coming during the Eagles' 3-0 win against Averett University on September 19th.  He added an assist during the team's 4-0 win over Rochester on October 29th.  Garofalo finished the season with eight shots, three of which were on goal.

Freshman (2009):

Garofalo started 16 of the 17 games he played in for the Emory defense during his freshman season.  He was a key member of the backline, which recorded a goals against average of 0.92, the 75th-lowest mark among the 377 Division III teams.  Garofalo took seven shots during the season, three of which were on goal.

Prior to Emory:

Played for five seasons on the Mount de Sales Academy soccer team, serving as the team captain during his senior season... Scored 30 goals and 30 assists during his high school career... Was named to the all-state team in 2007 and 2008, and the all-region team in 2006, 2007 and 2008... Coached by Iain Jones in high school... Played for the AFC Lightening club team, where he was coached by Robin Dixon... Also ran track in high school.
