Senior (2010):

Howie earned all-South Atlantic Region and all-University Athletic Association (UAA) First Team honors during his senior campaign, assisting on five goals (the second-best total on the team) after playing in all 19 games (including 18 starts) for Emory in 2010.  He had assists in three-consecutive games from October 22nd-31st, including the game-winning assist during the Eagles' 4-0 over the then-seventh ranked University of Rochester.  Howie also earned all-tournament honors during the Shellenberger Classic.  The midfielder finished his Emory career with three goals and 17 assists for 23 points over 56 games played.

Junior (2009):

Howie earned the first postseason honor of his career as an Eagle, as he was named an honorable mention to the all-University Athletic Association (UAA) team in 2009.  Howie finished the season with a team-best eight assists, and finished the year ranked 64th among Division III players with 0.44 assists per game.  He finished conference play with two assists, one against Case Western Reserve University, and the other against then 11th-ranked Carnegie Mellon University.  The junior assisted on the game-winning goal during Emory's 6-1 win against the University of the Ozarks during the Sonny Carter Invitational, and notched three total assists during the tournament, en route to earning all-tournament honors.  Howie also picked up two assists, including the game winner, during Emory's 2-1 win over Eastern Mennonite University on September 13th.  He scored his only goal of the season during Emory's 4-0 win against Greensboro College on September 19th.  His 10 points during the season were the third-most on the team during the campaign. 

Sophomore (2008):

During his first season with Emory, Howie played in 19 games and made 18 starts, recording two goals and four assists for eight points.  He scored the game-winning goal during the Eagles' 3-0 win over Covenant College on September 12th.  The sophomore midfielder assisted on two game-winning goals during the season as well.

Prior to Emory:

Transferred from Georgia State University, a Division I school, where he played in 15 games and made seven starts during his freshman season... Recorded one assist for the Panthers during the 2007 campaign... Played for four seasons on the Savannah Country Day School team, serving as the team captain during his senior year... Named to the all-area first team from 2005-07... Coached by Peter Foley in high school... Also played for the Coastal Georgia Soccer Association club team, where he was coached by Rob Weisel.
