The Emory University will look for its tenth win of the season
on Friday, October 23rd, as the Eagles will start a
three-game road trip at Maryville College at 6:00 PM.
Emory is coming off a 1-0-1 weekend, during which the Eagles'
defense recorded back-to-back shutouts for the first time this
season. Emory currently sits at 9-3-1 on the season,
including a 7-1-0 record in road and neutral matches. The
Eagles are currently ranked seventh in the South Atlantic
Region.
Maryville will enter the contest with a 9-1-3 overall record,
including a mark of 6-1-2 at home this season. The Scots have
won two-straight matches, including a 2-1 win at Piedmont College
on Monday.
Emory is 12-8-0 all time against Maryville, including four
consecutive victories in the series. Last season, the Eagles
defeated the Scots 1-0 at the Woodruff Physical Education
Center.
