Emory University junior Nao Masuda matched a University Athletic Association (UAA) record with three goals during the Eagles’4-0 win over the seventh-ranked University of Rochester on Friday night.  All three of Masuda’s goals game in the second half of the contest, including his game-winning goal in the 58^th minute.  The hat trick was the 24^th in the history of UAA competition, and the first in a UAA men’s soccer game since November 6, 2004.  The forward has scored eight goals this season and assisted on four others for 20 points, the second-best total by an Eagle in 2010.  Masuda has helped lead the 14^th-ranked Eagles to a 14-1-2 overall record, and a 3-1-2 mark in UAA games, just one point out of first place in the conference with one game remaining.
