Emory University sophomore Andrew Natalino recorded the first hat trick by an Eagle in over two years during the team’s 4-0 win over Maryville College on Friday. Natalino scored his first goal just a minute and 22 seconds into the contest, placing a one-touch shot into the back of the net. In the 16th-minute, midfielder/defender struck with a long shot from outside the box for his second goal of the contest. Natalino capped off the hat trick in the 65th minute, scoring his third goal of the game to give Emory a 4-0 lead. It marked the 34th hat trick in the program’s history and the first since former Eagle Patrick Carver’s on August 30th, 2008. Natalino leads all Emory scorers with 10 goals this season and 23 points. His play during the campaign has led 18th-ranked Emory to a 12-1-2 overall record.
