Emory University junior Zach Samuels earned a spot on the Shellenberger Classic All-Tournament Team, scoring a goal and two assists during two Eagle victories. During Emory’s 4-0 win over Randolph College on Saturday, Samuels scored his second goal of the season, and utilized a corner kick to assist on another. On Sunday, it was the midfielder’s corner kick once again that led to the only score of the game in a 1-0 win over regionally-ranked Lynchburg College. Samuels is Emory’s leader with nine points and five assists this season, including three assists on game-winning goals. His performance has helped the Eagles to wins in each of their first five contests.
