Emory University junior Zach Samuels scored the game-winning goal during the Eagles’ 1-0 win over the University of Chicago on Saturday, to give the team its first University Athletic Association (UAA) win of the season.  Samuels’ goal, his team-leading fifth of the season, came at the 80:59 mark of the game to break the scoreless tie.  The midfielder took a team-high four shots during the contest.  Samuels leads all Emory players with 17 points, with five goals and seven assists this season.  His performance during the campaign has helped the Eagles to a 10-0-1 overall record, and to a first-place tie in the UAA.
