Emory University freshman midfielder Dehmeh Smith scored three goals over two games last week. During Emory’s 5-0 win over Piedmont College on Wednesday, Smith scored his first collegiate goal in the 67th minute of play, giving the Eagles a 3-0 lead at the time. On Saturday during a 9-0 rout of Greensboro College, Smith made his first collegiate start, and scored a pair of unassisted goals in the second half. Over the two games, Smith took six total shots, four of which were on goal. His performance during his first collegiate campaign has helped the 10th-ranked Eagles open their season with a 9-0-0 record.
