Emory University junior goalkeeper Trenton Spindler recorded his fourth shutout of the season during the ninth-ranked Eagles scoreless tie against 13th-ranked Washington University (Mo.) on Sunday. Spindler played all 110 minutes of the double-overtime game, making five saves during the contest. He now stands at 8-0-1 on the season, with a 0.12 goals-against average (one goal allowed in over 766 minutes). In addition, he has not allowed a score in his last 660:41 in goal, helping the team to a school-record eight-consecutive shutouts. Spindler, who began the week ranked third in Division III in save percentage and fourth in goals-against average, has led the Eagles to a 9-0-1 record this season.
