Emory University senior Adam Waxman played the entirety of two shutout victories over University Athletic Association (UAA) opponents on the Eagles’ backline last weekend.  He helped the Eagles to a 4-0 upset win over the seventh-ranked University of Rochester on Friday night, holding the Yellowjackets to just three shots on goal, only one of which was in the second half.  On Sunday afternoon, Waxman and the Emory defense matched a program record with its 13^th shutout of the season, defeating Case Western Reserve University 2-0.  He has helped lead an Emory backfield that has recorded a 0.23 goals against average this season, which was the fourth-lowest mark among NCAA Division III teams at the start of the week.  Waxman has helped the 14^th-ranked Eagles to a 14-1-2 overall record, including a 3-1-2 record in conference play.
