Freshman (2010):

Gundersen appeared in 12 games as a reserve for Emory, scoring a pair of goals.  He scored his first collegiate goal on September 18th, helping the Eagles to a 7-0 win at Methodist University.  Gundersen's second goal of the campaign came during Emory's 5-0 victory against Piedmont College on September 22nd.  He led all players with six shots and three shots on goal during the Eagles' NCAA Tournament game against Lynchburg College, and finished the season with 12 shots, eight of which were on target.

Played on the Langley High School soccer team for four seasons, serving as the team captain during his senior year... Earned first team all-region and all-district honors... Scored a career-best 14 goals and two assists during his senior year... Coached by Bo Amato in high school... Played club soccer for McLean Academy, where he was coached by Gene Mishalow... Also played basketball as a freshman.
