Andrew Natalino

Andrew Natalino

Emory University junior Andrew Natalino scored two goals and assisted on another during the Eagles’ 5-3 win over Rowan College on Sunday.  The three scores that Natalino contributed to took place within a six minute period early in the second half.  The outside back/midfielder scored his first goal of the season in the 47th minute, taking a pass in the box and shooting it past the keeper to pull the team within a goal.  Four minutes later, Natalino tied the match with a header off a throw in for his second goal of the game.  In the 53rd minute, Natalino picked up an assist after setting up the eventual game-winning goal with a perfectly placed corner kick.  He also took two shots, including one on goal, during the team’s 2-0 loss to Methodist on Saturday.  Natalino, who leads all Eagles in goals and points this season, was named to the all-tournament team of the Sonny Carter Invitational for his efforts during the two games.  Emory has opened the season with a 1-3-0 record.
