Prior to Emory:

Played on the Cedar Shoals High School soccer team for four seasons, serving as the team captain during his senior year... Was named his team's Defensive Most Valuable Player in 2010 and 2011... Coached by Hoke Howard in high school... Played for the Oconee FC in 2011, where he was coached by Ed Rock... Also played football in high school.
