Senior (2011):

Limited by injury during his senior campaign, Masuda saw action in just 10 contests, including one start.  He assisted on one goal, coming during the Eagles' 6-5 double-overtime loss to Case Western Reserve University on October 14th.  Masuda totaled nine shots during the year, two of which were on goal.  He ended his Emory career with eight goals and five assists for 21 points over 28 games, including 19 starts.

Junior (2010):

Masuda earned an honorable mention to the all-University Athletic Association (UAA) team, after finishing the season second on the team with eight goals and 20 points, and third with four assists.  He started all 18 games he played in during the campaign, leading all Emory players with 50 shots and 29 shots on goal.  Masuda scored three goals (including the game winner) in the second half of the team's 4-0 win over seventh-ranked Rochester, giving him the 35th hat trick in the program's history and the first in UAA play in six seasons.  He matched a program record with three assists during the Eagles' 9-0 win over Greensboro College on September 25th.  Masuda added a game-winning goal during the Eagles' season-opening victory over Covenant College on September 1st.  The forward was named the UAA's Offensive Player of the Week on November 1st.

2010 All-UAA Honorable Mention

Prior to Emory:

Transferred from Christopher Newport University before the start of his junior season... Earned all-region second team honors, in addition to all-USA South and all-Virginia SID first team honors, in 2009... Totaled 13 goals and five assists for 31 points during his two collegiate seasons, including 10 goals and five assists for 25 points in 2009, the second-most in each category on his team... Helped his squad to a 35-7-7 record during his two seasons, including back-to-back trips to the Elite-8 of the NCAA Division III Tournament... Scored a goal against Emory during the 2008 Round of 16 matchup in the NCAA Tournament... Played for four seasons on the Radford High School soccer team, serving as the team captain during his senior year... Named to the Virginia State second team and the Region C first team in 2008, in addition to earning Three Rivers District first team honors in 2007 and 2008... Coached by Greg Wade in high school... Played club soccer for the Roanoke Stars for four years, where he was coached by John Faircloth.
