Smith played in 12 games off the bench for Emory during his sophomore season.  He took seven shots during the year, four of which were on goal. 

Freshman (2010):

Smith led all Emory freshman with three goals and seven points during the 2010 campaign.  He made two starts over his 15 games played, taking 12 shots, five of which were on goal.  He scored a pair of goals during Emory's 9-0 win over Greensboro College on September 25th.  Smith also scored a goal against Piedmont College on September 22nd, and assisted on a goal at Methodist University on September 18th.

Prior to Emory:

Played on the Blacksburg High School soccer team from 2006-10, serving as the team captain for three seasons... Was an all-state honorable mention and a first team all-region and all-district honoree in 2010, in addition to earning all-district second team honors in 2009... Also earned his team's most valuable player and most valuable senior honors, while earning a spot on the VHSCA all-star team during his senior campaign... Scored seven goals and 11 assists for 25 points during his senior season... Coached by Shelley Blumenthal in high school... Played club soccer for the Roanoke Stars from 2005-10, where he was coached by Danny Beamer and Garaham MacLean... Served as his club team's captain from 2007-10... Also played basketball in high school.
