Senior (2011):

Zia played in seven games for Emory during his senior year, making one start against Berry College.  He scored one goal during the year, helping Emory to a 5-0 win over Virginia Wesleyan College on September 16th.  Zia took nine shots during the campaign, three of which were on goal.  He ended his Emory career with six goals and one assist for 13 points over his career.

Junior (2010):

Zia was Emory's top scorer off the bench in 2010, scoring five goals and adding an assist in 14 games as a reserve.  His 11 points during the year ranked him fourth among all Emory players, and the five goals were the fourth-most by an Eagle.  He scored a pair of goals, including the game winner, during the Eagles' 9-0 win over Greensboro College on September 25th.  Zia added a three-point performance (one goal and one assist) during a 7-0 win at Methodist University, in addition to chipping in goals during victories over Covenant College and Case Western Reserve University.  15 of his 19 shots during the season were on goal.

Prior to Emory:

Played for three seasons on the Cherry Creek High School varsity soccer team... Earned the team's Most Improved Player award... Coached by Marcelo Curi in high school...  Was the captain of his club team, where he was coached by David McConnellogue... Also played ice hockey in high school.
