The Emory University men's soccer team will face a non-conference test on Wednesday, as the Eagles will travel to Lookout Mountain, GA to take on the Covenant College Scots at 7:00 PM.

Emory Eagles
The Eagles will enter Wednesday night's game with a 5-4-0 record, including a 1-1-0 mark in road games and a 1-2-0 record in all games away from the Woodruff P.E. Center this weekend.  Emory is currently tied for first in the University Athletic Association (UAA) following its 1-0 win at the University of Chicago on Saturday.  The Eagles are led by head coach Sonny Travis, who holds a 61-15-5 record during his five seasons with the team, and a 357-108-42 record during his 25-year career.

Covenant is led by Tyler Morrison, Ian Meredith and Hunter Harrison, who have each scored two goals this season, and goalkeeper John Eger, who has a 1.20 goals-against average during the campaign.  The Scots are coached by Nathan Pifer, who is 29-19-5 during his three years with the team.

Emory goalkeeper Alex Wong was named the University Athletic Association's (UAA) Defensive Athlete of the Week after making nine saves during the team's 1-0 shutout against the University of Chicago… The nine saves were the most in a single game by a UAA goalkeeper this season, and the most by an Emory goalkeeper since October 31^st, 2010… Wong currently ranks 31^st among Division III keepers with a 0.561 goals-against average and 38^th with a 0.864 save percentage… Senior Zach Samuels is 156^th in Division III with 0.57 goals per game and 186^th with 1.29 points per game… Andrew Natalino, Zachary Rosenberg and Javier Puga are currently tied for 184^th among Division III players with three assists, and for 211^th with 0.33 assists per game… Emory has outscored its opponents 15-3 in its five wins this season (including four shutouts), but has been outscored 10-2 in the team's four losses.
