Emory University sophomore goalkeeper Andrew Goldblum was named the University Athletic Association's (UAA) Defensive Athlete of the Week for Men's Soccer, following his performance during the Eagles' 1-0 win over the University of Rochester on Sunday.

Making the first start and third appearance of his collegiate career, Goldblum played all 90 minutes of the game, making four saves en route to the shutout and his first-career victory.   The sophomore has not allowed a goal in over 103 minutes played this season, and in 112 minutes played during his career. 

Goldblum helped the Eagles improve to 2-2-0 in conference play and to 6-5-0 overall with the win.

The Eagles will travel to Piedmont College on Wednesday for a 7:00 PM non-conference matchup with Piedmont College.
