Natalino Named to the NSCAA All-South Atlantic Region Team

Emory University defender Andrew Natalino earned regional recognition for the second straight season in 2011, as the junior was named to the NSCAA All-South Atlantic Region Second Team.

Natalino started all 18 games for Emory during the 2011 campaign, leading the team with 16 points on six goals and four assists.  He finished second among all University Athletic Association (UAA) players with four goals and eight points in conference play, including a game-winning penalty kick during a 1-0 win against the University of Chicago on October 1st.  Natalino also assisted on a pair of game-winning goals during the season, and registered a five-point game (two goals and an assist) against Rowan University on September 11th.

Natalino was a contributor to the Emory defense as well, which finished the year with a 1.39 goals-against average and seven shutouts.

Earlier in the season, Natalino was named to the all-UAA First Team, and earned all-tournament honors at the Sonny Carter Invitational.  This was the second all-region honor of Natalino's career, after the junior was named to the all-region first team and all-America third team in 2010.

Emory finished the 2011 campaign with a 10-8-0 record.
