Carl Credle

Carl Credle

Emory University sophomore Carl Credle scored a goal in both of the team’s games last week, including the game-winning ‘golden goal’ in the Eagles’ 4-3 double-overtime win against the 23rd-ranked University of Chicago on Saturday.  Credle scored his first career ‘golden goal’ on a header with just 26 seconds left in the game against the Maroons, lifting the Eagles to the victory in their first University Athletic Association (UAA) game of the season.  Earlier in the week, he scored the third goal of the game for Emory in a 3-0 win at the University of the South in the 62nd minute of play.  Credle led the Eagles in shots and shots on goal in both games, and is now third on the squad with three goals this season.  His performance has helped Emory to four-straight victories, as the Eagles improved to 6-4-1 on the season and to 1-0-0 in UAA play.
