Senior (2012):

Garofalo was a key player both offensively and defensively for the Eagles during the 2012 campaign, earning an honorable mention to the all-University Athletic Association (UAA) team for his efforts over the course of the year.  The outside back, who took the majority of the corner and free kicks during the season, finished the year with the team lead with six assists, the fourth-most among UAA players during the season.  Four of his assists came during conference games, the second-most during the 2012 campaign.  Garofalo matched the school single-game record with three assists against Case Western Reserve University on October 12th, marking the 23rd time an Eagle has accomplished the feat, and just the fifth time it has happened against a conference opponent.  His one goal during the year came on October 19th against Covenant College, helping Emory to a 4-3 overtime victory.  He also assisted on a goal during the Eagles' season-opening tie against Brewton-Parker College, earning a spot on the Sonny Carter Invitational All-Tournament team.  Garofalo took 12 shots during the season, six of which were on goal.  He ended his Emory career with three goals and 12 assists for 18 points, and his 4,880 minutes played are the fourth-most by an Eagle.

Junior (2011):

Garofalo earned the first post-season honor of his career in 2011, as the junior was named to the all-University Athletic Association (UAA) Second Team.  He led all Emory players with five assists during the season, and was tied for fifth on the squad with seven points.  The outside back finished the year ranked 211th among Division III players in assists per game, and 248th in total assists.  Garofalo was also tied for the team lead with two game-winning assists, coming on goals against Oglethorpe University on September 14th and the University of Rochester on October 16th.  His one goal scored during the year was a game-winning goal, helping the Eagles to a 1-0 win over Brandeis University on October 28th.  The junior finished conference play with three assists, the third-most among all UAA players.  Starting 15 of the 16 games he played in, he recorded career-highs with 20 shots and 10 shots on goal.  Garofalo was also a part of an Eagles' defense that recorded seven shutouts and a 1.39 goals-against average, while allowing the team to hold a 295-178 advantage in shots taken during the year.  Garofalo was named the UAA Defensive Athlete of the Week on October 31st.

Sophomore (2010):

Despite being limited to 13 games and six starts due to injury, Garofalo was a key member of the Emory defense, which finished fourth among all NCAA Division III teams with a school-record 0.41 goals-against average.  As a unit, the Emory backfield set a school records with nine-consecutive shutouts from from September 5th - October 9th and 13 shutouts overall, while limiting opponents to 5.1 shots on goal per game.  Garofalo's one goal on the season was a game winner, coming during the Eagles' 3-0 win against Averett University on September 19th.  He added an assist during the team's 4-0 win over Rochester on October 29th.  Garofalo finished the season with eight shots, three of which were on goal.

Freshman (2009):

Garofalo started 16 of the 17 games he played in for the Emory defense during his freshman season.  He was a key member of the backline, which recorded a goals against average of 0.92, the 75th-lowest mark among the 377 Division III teams.  Garofalo took seven shots during the season, three of which were on goal.

Prior to Emory:

Played for five seasons on the Mount de Sales Academy soccer team, serving as the team captain during his senior season... Scored 30 goals and 30 assists during his high school career... Was named to the all-state team in 2007 and 2008, and the all-region team in 2006, 2007 and 2008... Coached by Iain Jones in high school... Played for the AFC Lightening club team, where he was coached by Robin Dixon... Also ran track in high school.
