Played on the Walt Whitman High School soccer team for four seasons, serving as the team captain during his senior year... Was named to the all-county team in 2010... Helped his team to a state championship in 2009, and reach fourth in the Washington Post's area rankings... Coached by Dave Greene in high school... Played club soccer for Bethesda Real, where he was coached by Pete Mehlert... Helped his team reach the 2009 U.S. Club Soccer National Finals.
