Natalino Caps Off Career with All-Region Honor

Emory University senior Andrew Natalino was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) 2012 NCAA Division III Men's Soccer All-South Atlantic Region Third Team based on his play during the season.

This was the third-straight season that Natalino has earned a selection to the all-region team.  He becomes just the seventh player in the program's history to claim three or more all-region honors over a career, joining Boris Jerkunica (1984-86), Min Lee (1984-86, 1988), Scott Cahoon (1987, 1989-90), Dennis Jerkunica (1990-92), Matthew Levine (2001-03), and Karl Dix (2003-05).

Natalino helped lead the Eagles to the program's seventh University Athletic Association (UAA) Championship during the 2012 season, earning a spot on the all-conference first team for the third-straight season as well.  He finished the 2012 season as Emory's leader with 14 goals and 31 points, including the game-winning goal in the Eagles' NCAA Tournament game against Roanoke College.  The team captain recorded four multiple goal games during the season, and ended his career as an Eagle ranked 11th in school history with 32 career goals and 15th with 75 points.

Natalino helped the Eagles finish the 2012 season with an overall record of 11-7-2, as the squad defeated Roanoke College 4-1 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, before losing at Messiah College, the eventual NCAA Champions, in the second round.
