Emory University sophomore Abe Hannigan helped lead the Eagles to a pair of University Athletic Association (UAA) victories with his strong play in goal last weekend.  Hannigan earned his fifth shutout of the season during Emory’s 2-0 win over New York University on Friday, making three saves during the contest.  On Sunday, the goalkeeper recorded a season-high six saves against Brandeis University, the 17^th-best offense in the country to start the week, as Emory earned a 3-1 win over the Judges.  Hannigan, who has played all but 14 minutes in goal this season for Emory, lowered his goals-against average to 1.00, while raising his save percentage to .750.  In addition, he leads all UAA goalkeepers in GAA (0.47) and save percentage (.895) in UAA contests.  With the wins, Emory improved to 10-3-1 overall this season, and remained in first place in the UAA with a 3-0-1 conference record.
