Emory University junior Dylan Price was the University Athletic Association’s (UAA) leading scorer in conference play last week, notching a combined three goals during wins over New York University and Brandeis University.  On Friday, Price scored the game-winning goal in the 34th minute in a 2-0 win against New York University.  He finished the game leading all players with five shots and three shots on goal.  On Sunday, the Emory co-captain led the squad to a 3-1 upset over 12th-ranked Brandeis, scoring on a header in the 19th minute to knot the score at one goal apiece, and extending the Eagles’ lead to two goals with an insurance score in the 53rd-minute.  He again led all players with three shots on goal, and all Eagles in the game with five shots.   Price is the top scorer in the UAA in 2013 with 10 goals and 24 points, including a conference-best four goals and nine points in UAA matches.  In addition, he is now tied for 14th in school history with 29 career goals, 19th with 66 career points, and third with 11 career game-winning goals.  Price and the Eagles improved to 10-3-1 this season with the victories, including a 3-0-1 mark in UAA play, good for first-place in the conference.
