Price Earns Capital One Academic All-District Honor

Based on his athletic and academic success, Emory University junior Dylan Price was selected to the Capital One Academic Men's Soccer All-District Team, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

Price, a two-time all-University Athletic Association (UAA) Honorable Mention, has been the conference's leading scorer this season, both during UAA play and during the season as a whole.  The forward is currently ranked 86th among Division III players with 10 goals and 88th with 24 points this season, and leads all Emory players with three game-winning goals this season.  His 29 career goals are tied for the 14th-most in the program's history, while his 11 career game-winning goals are tied for third.  In UAA games this season, he leads all players in the conference with four goals and nine points.  Price is a Business Finance and Russian dual major with a cumulative grade point average of 3.77.

This is the second-straight year that Price has been named to the Academic All-District Team.

Voting for the Academic All-District team is conducted by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).  Emory is part of District 5, which includes Division III schools in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia.

By virtue of being named to the Capital One Academic All-District team, all Price will be placed on the ballot for the Academic all-America Team.  The first-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced on Friday, November 22nd.

Emory, currently leading the UAA with a 3-0-1 record in conference matches, will be back in action this weekend, traveling to face the University of Rochester on Friday and Case Western Reserve University on Sunday.
