The University of Rochester defeated Case Western Reserve University 1-0 on Saturday to eliminate the Emory University Men's Soccer Team from contention for the University Athletic Association (UAA) Championship and the conference's automatic bid.
Emory, which tied Carnegie Mellon University earlier in the day, finished tied with the Tartans for second-place in the UAA with a 4-1-2 record.
Emory will still be eligible for an at large bid to the NCAA Tournament. The NCAA Tournament bracket will be announced live on NCAA.com at 1:00 PM. Links to the live webcast will be posted to EmoryAthletics.com on Monday.
