Emory University sophomore center back Scott Haley earned a spot on the Sonny Carter Invitational All-Tournament Team, playing 200 minutes for a short-handed Eagles’ defense and leading the squad to an undefeated weekend. Haley was the only Emory field player to play all 200 minutes of action during the weekend, helping the team yield just three goals for a 1.35 goals-against average. During Friday’s 1-1 double-overtime tie with Centre, Haley and the Emory defense limited Centre to six shots on goal. He followed that performance by holding Rutgers University – Newark to just three shots on goal and eight shots total in a 3-2 win.
