Emory University junior goalkeeper Abe Hannigan capped off his year with his eighth individual clean sheet of the season during the 14th-ranked Eagles 0-0 double-overtime draw at Carnegie Mellon University on Saturday. Hannigan faced 10 total shots in the game, turning away both of which were on goal for a pair of saves. He finished the regular season with a 0.56 goals-against average (the third-lowest mark in school history) and a .815 save percentage, to go along with a 12-3-2 overall record. In addition, his eight shutouts are tied for the second-most in school history in a season, one behind the school record set by Larry Meyer in 1986. Hannigan and the Eagles ended the 2014 regular season with a 13-3-2 record, including a 3-3-1 University Athletic Association (UAA) record, good for a third place finish in the conference.
