Emory University junior Sebastian Hardington led the 13th-ranked Eagles with two goals, both game winners, and five points over three wins last week. On Wednesday, Hardington scored the game-winning goal in the 106th minute to lift Emory to a 2-1 double-overtime win over Covenant College. During Saturday’s 5-1 win over Rhodes College at the Warrior Classic, the forward struck in the 27th minute with what would eventually be the game-winning goal. He led all players in the game with five shots and four shots on goal. Hardington wrapped up play at the Warrior Classic with an assist on a 72nd minute goal against host Hendrix College, taking three shots (including a pair on goal) during the game and helping the Eagles to a 3-0 victory. He was named to the all-tournament team for his efforts during the Warrior Classic. Hardington and the Eagles improved to 6-0-1 on the season.
