Sebastian Hardington

Sebastian Hardington

Emory University junior Sebastian Hardington scored three goals, including a pair of game winners, during a pair of wins for the seventh-ranked Eagles last week.  During Wednesday night’s 2-0 win over regionally-ranked Birmingham-Southern College, Hardington scored the game-winning goal in the 76th minute, while playing a total of 57 minutes and taking two shots, both on goal.  The forward followed that performance on Saturday with the first multiple-goal game of his career, scoring a pair against the University of the South, including the game winner in the 14th minute and a second on a penalty kick in the 85th minute.  He played 52 minutes in the game, taking a pair of shots, both of which were again on goal.  Hardington leads all Emory players and is tied for third among University Athletic Association (UAA) scorers with five goals this season, and his four game-winning goals are the most in the conference.  Hardington and the Eagles have won nine-straight games, and are one of just 17 remaining undefeated teams in Division III with a 9-0-1 overall record.
