Sophomore (2014):

Hughes did not appear in a game for the Eagles during his sophomore season.

Freshman (2013):

Hughes played in five games as a reserve during his inaugural season as an Eagle, seeing 64 minutes of action.  He scored his only goal of the season in his first collegiate game, helping Emory to a 6-2 win over Marian University (Wis.) in the team’s season-opening game.  Hughes finished his freshman season with four shots, including three on goal.

Prior to Emory:

Played three years of high school soccer for Kent Denver and Cherry Creek... Earned All-State and All-Metro honors in 2011... Named an honorable mention to the Centennial League in 2012... Scored 21 goals in 15 games in 2011... Coached by Arty Smith and Chelo Curri in high school... Played club soccer for Real Colorado for four seasons, where he was coached by Lorne Donaldson and Sean Hennidy... Also played basketball and ran track in high school.

Personal:

Born November 1st... Was a National Merit Commended Scholar and National Honor Society nominee in high school.
