His lone assist of the season came during the Eagles’ 2-1 overtime win against Covenant College on September 10th.  Sherr finished the year with nine shots, including four on goal.  In addition, for his academic and athletic achievements during the season, he was named to the Capital One/ CoSIDA Academic All-District Team for the first time in his collegiate career.

Sophomore (2013):

Sherr emerged as one of the top defensive players in the University Athletic Association (UAA) during his sophomore campaign, as the center back was Emory’s lone selection to the all-UAA First Team, in addition to earning a spot on the NSCAA All-South Atlantic Region Third Team.  He was one of just four players to start all 18 games during the season, playing the entirety of 16 of the contests, and logged 1,635 minutes, the most by an Eagle position player during the year and sixth-most in a single season in school history.  Sherr led a defense that recorded a 1.08 goals-against average and six shutouts during the season, while limiting opponents to 12.3 shots and 4.7 shots on goal per game.  He finished the season with eight shots, including four on goal.  He also contributed offensively with one goals and two assists during the year.  He opened his season by scoring a goal during Emory’s 6-2 win over Marian University (Wis.) on August 31st, later earning a spot on the Sonny Carter Invitational All-Tournament Team and UAA Defensive Athlete of the Week honors for his efforts.  He assisted on the game-winning goal against New York University on October 18th, while adding another assist against Birmingham-Southern College on September 25th.  Sherr took 12 shots, including three on goal, during the campaign.

Freshman (2012):

Sherr made an immediate impact on the team during his freshman season, playing in 19 games and making 18 starts, while logging 1,752 minutes, the second-highest total in school history.  He scored a goal in his first collegiate game, forcing a 1-1 tie with Brewton-Parker College and earning a spot on the Sonny Carter Invitational All-Tournament Team.  Sherr also scored during a 4-0 win over Spalding University on September 7th, and assisted on a goal during a 5-0 win at Birmingham-Southern College on September 20th.  The defender was a key player for an Emory backline that recorded six shutouts and a 1.34 goals-against average during the year, limiting opposing teams to 9.65 shots and 4.55 shots on goal per game.  Sherr ended the year with 26 shots, 12 of which were on goal.
