Senior (2015):

Hardington appeared in just 12 games making eight starts during his senior season but tied for the team lead with five goals and was second with 10 points. He earned an All-UAA Honorable Mention selection, the second All-UAA honor in his career. Hardington was named to the Sonny Carter Invitational All-Tournament team after scoring three goals during the tournament. He found the back of the net twice in Emory’s 7-1 win over St. Joseph’s (Brooklyn) on September 5th and scored the team’s lone tally in a 2-1 loss to Denison the next day. He added an insurance goal in Emory’s 2-0 win at Millsaps for his fourth goal on the season. Hardington’s most notable goal on the year came in double overtime against Chicago as he scored the game-winner to give the Eagles their first UAA win in 2015. The game-winner was his eighth of his career, a mark that places him fifth all-time in school history. Despite his season being cut short due to a concussion, Hardington led the team in shots with 31 and shots on goal with 18.

Junior (2014):

Hardington was the Eagles’ leading scorer during the 2014 campaign, registering career highs with seven goals and 16 points.  The forward also led all Emory players with five game winning goals, which tied for the University Athletic Association lead and was 27th among all NCAA Division III players.  For his efforts, Hardington earned the first all-conference honor of his career, as the junior was selected to the all-UAA Second Team.  He was named the UAA Athlete of the Week on September 29th after scoring three goals combined in games at Birmingham Southern College and the University of the South, including the game-winning strike in each.  He also was chosen to the Warrior Classic All-Tournament Team after scoring the game-winning goal against Rhodes College on September 13th, and assisting on a score against Hendrix College on September 14th.  Hardington became just the fifth player in the program’s history with multiple ‘golden goals’ in a single season, recording the game-winning overtime scores against Covenant College on September 10th and Oglethorpe University on October 1st.  His final goal of the season was the lone Emory tally during the Eagles’ NCAA Tournament game against Berry College on November 14th.   Hardington recorded career-highs with 19 games played and 16 starts, leading all Eagles with 25 shots on goal and was second on the team with 44 total shots.  Hardington’s seven career game-winning goals are tied for the eighth-most in the program’s history.

Sophomore (2013):

Hardington played in 10 games during his sophomore season, making nine starts.  He finished the year with a goal, along with career highs with three assists and five points.  The midfielder’s one goal during the season was the game winner (the second of his career) during the Eagles’ 2-0 win at the University of Chicago on October 12th.  He assisted on two goals, including the game winner, in Emory’s season-opening 6-2 win over Marian University (Wis.) on August 31st, and added his third assist of the campaign at Covenant College on October 23rd.  Hardington finished the season with nine shots, including four on goal, during his 677 minutes of action in 2013.

Freshman (2012):

Hardington's one goal during his freshman campaign was arguably the most impactful of the season for the Eagles, a 72nd-minute strike against then-sixth ranked Carnegie Mellon University in the regular-season finale that lead the Eagles to a 1-0 win and to a share of the University Athletic Association (UAA) title.  For his efforts in the game, Hardington was named the UAA Athlete of the Week for the week of November 5th.  He finished the year with four points, coming on the one goal and two assists, over the course of 13 games off the bench.  Hardington also assisted on a goal during Emory's 4-3 overtime win over Covenant College, and on the game-winning goal during the Eagles' 4-1 NCAA Tournament victory at Roanoke College.  He took two shots during the year, both of which were on goal.
