The Emory University men's soccer team placed six members on the All-University Athletic Association Team as announced by the conference office Monday afternoon.

The Eagles concluded their season on Sunday, reaching the NCAA Second Round after qualifying for the NCAA postseason for the first time since 2017. Emory posted a 9-4-5 overall record and were fourth in the UAA at 3-2-2.

Berman makes his first All-UAA appearance following a brilliant senior season where he led the team in minutes played and anchored a defensive unit that was among the best in the country. He was one of three players to start all 18 games and finished with two goals for four points. His first goal of the season acted as a game-winner, scoring with 14.5 seconds remaining to down Lynchburg on September 18.

Sampson makes his second straight All-UAA selection after earning Second Team honors in 2019. Sampson led the team in goals for the second consecutive season, recording five markers to go along with one assist for 11 points. Three of his goals scored acted as game-winners, helping the team defeat Roanoke, Sewanee and NYU. He was named the UAA Athlete of the Week once this year, scoring three times over a weekend as the Eagles went 1-1 against Brandeis and NYU.

Hudson was nails between the posts in his first season with the Eagles, starting 17 of the 18 games at keeper and recording 65 saves and a 0.75 goals against average. He turned in six clean sheets with one coming against Lynchburg where he made a season-high seven saves. Hudson was named the UAA Defensive Athlete of the Week twice this year, occurring in back-to-back weeks on September 20th and 27th.

Mehlman garners his first-ever All-UAA selection after starting all 18 games and finishing third on the team in minutes played. A standout defender, his efforts helped the team record seven shutouts while limiting opposing schools to 15 goals total and an average of 4.89 shots on goal per game. He added one goal and one assist throughout the year, coming against Brandeis and NYU in UAA competition, and earlier this fall was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Team.

Scruton's breakthrough offensive season landed him All-UAA honors for the first time in his career. He finished as the team leader in both goals (5) and points (11) with three of his goals coming against UAA foes Chicago and Carnegie Mellon and was named the UAA Offensive Athlete of the Week twice on October 4th and November 15th.

Gomez rounds out the All-UAA selections with his second career All-UAA honor. The junior appeared in all 18 games, making 13 starts, and finished third on the team with six points: two goals and two assists. The Eagles went 1-0-2 in games in which he found the scoring column including a season-high three points in the team's 2-2 tie against Case Western Reserve.
