Men's Soccer Selected to Host NCAA First & Second Rounds

Having received the automatic bid as the University Athletic Association champions, the Emory University men's soccer team will be heading back to the NCAA tournament after the 64-team field was announced Monday afternoon.

The Eagles (11-3-3) were also chosen as one of the 16 opening round hosts for the upcoming weekend, marking the second time in the last three seasons Emory will serve as a host institution for the men's soccer NCAA first and second rounds.

The Eagles will open the tournament against Brevard College (7-8-4) at 1:00 PM followed by Colorado College (13-3-1) and Oglethorpe University (14-2-2) at 3:30 PM Saturday afternoon at the Woodruff PE Center. The winners will advance to meet at 3:00 PM on Sunday.

Brevard enters the tournament after securing the USA South automatic bid while Oglethorpe defeated Rhodes in the SAA title match on Sunday. Colorado College is the lone school in the four-team pod that earned an At-Large selection.

This represents the 18th overall postseason appearance for men's soccer and third under Head Coach Cory Greiner after previously making the field in 2017 and 2021. To see the entire 64-team bracket, please click here.
