Emory University junior Patrick Augustyn turned in three strong performances, including a first-place finish and a ‘B’ cut time, while competing against Clemson University. Despite facing NCAA Division I competition, Augustyn won the 200-yard butterfly with a ‘B’ cut time of 1:53.01. He followed that performance with a second-place finish in the 100-yard butterfly, touching in with a time of 51.37 seconds. Augustyn also swam the butterfly leg of the Eagles’ 200-yard medley relay, which finished fifth with a time of 1:35.30. He scored a total of 18 points for Emory during the meet, but the second-ranked Eagles fell to Clemson 153 – 138.
