Attended Central Gwinnett High School, where he swam for three seasons... Set the school record for scoring in the one-meter springboard, six and 11 dives, and earned all-America honors in the events...Was a top-eight state finalist... Named to the all-County teams in 2007 and 2008... Coached by Betty Hudson in high school, and Emory diving coach Alex Kossenkov on his club team.
