Emory University senior Kevin Flood recorded first-place finishes in three events during the third-ranked Eagles’ dual meet win at the University of the South on Saturday. Flood won a pair of individual events, finishing first in both the 200-yard butterfly (2:00.30) and the 200-yard individual medley (2:02.56). He added another win as a part of the Eagles’ 200-yard medley relay team, swimming the freestyle leg and helping the team to a time of 1:37.94. Flood rounded out the meet with a second-place finish in the 200-yard backstroke, recording a career-best time of 2:02.13 in the event. He contributed 15.75 points towards the Eagles’ team total, helping Emory defeat the University of the South 148-108, as the squad ended the year with a 4-3 record.
