Senior Ellie Thompson and junior Christian Baker of the Emory University swimming & diving teams were named the UAA Swimmers of the Week on Monday evening. It is the first time this season Thompson has been a recipient of the award while this marks the third time for Baker.

Thompson led the Emory women's team in a pair of dual meets against Sewanee and Georgia Tech over the weekend. On Senior Day on Friday, Thompson had a pair of first place showings in the 200 IM (2:09.47) and 100 Back (57.60). On Saturday at Georgia Tech, she placed second in the 200 Back (2:04.59) and swam the first leg of the third place 400 Medley Relay team which had a time of 3:52.59.

Baker also turned in a solid weekend for the Eagles in both dual meets. On Friday against Sewanee, he took first in the 100 Fly (50.19) and swam the second leg of the winning 400 Free Relay team, which finished with a time of 3:08.10. On Saturday against the Yellow Jackets, Baker had a pair of second place finishes in the 200 Free (1:42.11) and 500 Free (4:37.75).

Thompson, Baker and the rest of the Eagles return to the pool February 17 through the 20^th as both the men and women look to claim their 18^th straight title at the UAA Championships held at the University of Rochester.
