The Emory swimming and diving programs sent members of the team to three different parts of the country this weekend, with some heading to the SCAD Invite in Savannah, Georgia. Joining the Eagles at SCAD are Wingate, Berry, SCAD and South Georgia State College men.

The Eagles concluded the second leg of the three-day competition on Friday evening. The Eagles in Savannah remained stagnant on the team leaderboard, with the women staying in second with 543 points and the men in the third with 465.5 points. Division II opponent Wingate University sits atop the leaderboard on both the men's and women's side after two days of competition.

Emory's lone individual event win came from junior Nolan Lahmann in the 100 Backstroke, where he touched first while posting a time of 48.99. The performance was a career-best for Lahmann, besting his previous record of 49.38, which he recorded in February of 2023.

Also on the men's side, the Eagles claimed places second through fourth in the 100 Breastsroke. Senior Chris Dieffenthaller finished second (55.54), junior Anderson Holcomb finished third (55.84), and junior Yubo Jin finished fourth in the event (56.05) to help the Eagles rack up some team points.

Rounding out the top individual performances for the men were junior Jason Amato with a second-place finish in the 400 IM (3:58.77), and Yin touching third in the 100 Butterfly.

The top individual performance on the women's side came from sophomore Claire DePiero, who touched second in the 100 Butterfly with a time of 57.68.
