Prior to Emory: Was a four-year member of the tennis program at Tamalpais High School where he played for Norm Burgos ... Played No. 1 & No. 2 singles throughout his career and compiled a eon-lost record of 40-10 ... Served as team co-captain with his twin brother, Alex, his senior year ... First-team All-Marin County Athletic League honoree on four occasions ... Member of conference championship teams in 2003 and 2007 ... Helped his team to a second-place finish at the North Coast Section in 2007.
