The Eagles raised their record to 16-6 following a 5-0 decision over the No. 17 Patriots who finished off the season with a won-lost ledger of 23-5.
Freshman Rafe Mosetick chalked up his 20th singles win of the season after dispatching Ryan Spencer at the No. 4 spot in straight sets, 6-4, 6-2. Sophomore Ian Wagner then closed out the match in Emory's favor at No. 4, battling to a 7-6 (4), 6-3 triumph over Martinez, upping his season slate to 21-4.
The win over the Patriots propels Emory in the quarterfinals for the 22nd straight season. The Eagles will meet No. 3-ranked Amherst on May 20 in a time to be determined. The Lord Jeffs punched their ticket to the Championships earlier today with a 5-1 decision over Stevens, raising their record to 29-8.
