Singles Draw

Doubles Draw

The draws for the 2013 NCAA Division III Men's Singles and Doubles Championships have been announced.  Action begins on Thursday (May 23) and concludes on Saturday.  Serving as the host of the Championships will be Kalamazoo College.

Emory junior Eric Halpern, the program's lone representative in the singles competition, will open with a round-of-32 battle against No. 5 seed Paul Burgin of Kenyon College.  It will be the second meeting of the year between the pair, with Halpern battling to a three-set win when the Eagles and The Lords meet in the title match at the National Indoor Championships in February.  Halpern heads into the competition with an overall record of 10-9, and will be tackling the No. 2-ranked player in the Central Region who has compiled a won-lost mark of 28-11.   The winner of the Halpern-Burgin match will advance to the round of 16 to meet either Rob Crampton of Bates or Daniel Brown of Texas-Tyler.

Senior Elliot Kahler and sophomore Ian Wagner will be taking part in the 16-team Doubles Championship.  The duo stands as the No. 2-ranked team in the South Atlantic Region and own a record of 20-7.  Their opening-round foes will be the Case Western Reserve team John Healey and Nicolas Crowe.  The victors move on to play in the quarterfinals against UT-Tyler's Daniel Brown and Ryan Ybarra or Williams' Trey Meyer and Alexander Schidlovsky.
