Senior Ian Wagner posted a pair of singles wins and one doubles victory in helping Emory to the championship in the Lexington, Virginia, Regional of the NCAA D-III Men's Tennis Championships.
In Emory's 5-0 second-round win over Juniata, Wagner teamed with Alex Ruderman to earn an 8-2 decision at No. 1 doubles, and later came away with a 6-1, 6-0, verdict over Logan Moore at No. 4 singles. In the regional final against No. 23-ranked North Carolina Wesleyan, Wagner's 6-3, 6-2, triumph against Fernando Nardelli was the clinching point in a 5-1 win.
On the year, Wagner posts a 19-11 ledger in singles action and a 22-11 mark in doubles.
