The No. 5-ranked Emory University men's tennis team returns to action on Saturday (Mar. 7) when it hosts NCAA Division I member Troy University. Action at the Woodruff PE Center begins at noon.
The Eagles stand 4-1 in dual meet action this spring and are coming off a runner-up finish at the ITA National Indoor Division III Championships (Feb. 20-22), defeating No. 9 Carnegie Mellon and No. 5 Washington University before falling to No. 3 Trinity in the finals.
Troy is ranked No. 62 nationally, its first appearance in the ITA Team rankings since 2011. The Trojans, 11-5 so far this spring, will play at Furman University on Friday before meeting up with Emory. Troy last played on Feb. 26 when it defeated No. 47-ranked South Alabama.
