Sophomore Andrew Harrington went 2-0 in doubles and 1-0 in singles in helping the men's tennis team to victories in the second and third rounds of the NCAA D-III Championships.
Harrington and David Omsky gave Emory a 1-0 match lead against Washington and Lee when the pair recorded an 8-4 decision over Justin Gillette and Perry Clements. In singles, Harrington sealed the 5-0 decision with a 6-0, 6-0 verdict over Gillette at six singles. The following day, Harrington and Omsky battled their way to an exciting 9-8 win over the Trinity University duo of Wilson Lambeth and Eliot Guin that provided the Eagles with their second point in an eventual 5-0 triumph over the Tigers.
On the year, Harrington has a solid 20-8 mark in singles competition (15-6 spring) and has joined forces with Omsky to fashion a 16-4 ledger in doubles.
