Enjoyed a fine second season in the program that saw him capture All-America honors in doubles along with James Spaulding ... The Rubinstein/Spaulding combo were selected to compete in the NCAA D-III Doubles Championship where they won their opening match, a 6-2, 6-1 verdict over Mohauad Alhouni and Andres Saenz of Gustavus Adolphus ... Rubinstein and Spaulding ended the year as the No. 6-ranked doubles team in Division III and No. 3 in the Atlantic South Region ... Compiled an overall doubles record of 19-13, 17-12 with Spaulding, which included a 16-10 slate at the No. 1 position ... Strong doubles showing during Emory's postseason run, going 4-0 at No. 1, including an 8-3 decision over Kenyon College's in the NCAA quarterfinals Sam Geier and Tristan Kaye, who would go on and eventually claim the D-III national title ... Won his first singles encounter at the Grizzly Open, battling to a come-from-behind win vs. Rafa Hewitt of Point University, 6-7, 6-3, 10-4 ... Saw considerable action in doubles, finishing the season with a 13-10 record ... Teamed with Eric Halpern to win their first three doubles matches en route to advancing to the semifinals of the ITA South Region Championship ... Playing at No. 2 doubles, he and Halpern cruised to an 8-4 decision over the Washington University duo of Kevin Chu and Jason Haugen, helping Emory to a 6-3 outcome in the semifinals of the ITA National Indoor Championships ...
