After a brilliant four-year career as a member of the Emory tennis program, Chris Goodwin moved over to the coaching side of things beginning in 2012-13.
Goodwin closed out his career as the school's all-time leader with 100 singles victories. His .806 winning percentage (100-24) ranks fifth on Emory's all-time chart. During the 2010-11 season, he became the second Emory men's player to win the NCAA Division III Singles, defeating teammate Dillon Pottish. Goodwin finished the '10-11 campaign with a singles slate of 31-4, then the third-highest victory total in Emory annals. The prior season, Goodwin advanced to the finals of the Singles Championship while ending the year with a 25-9 performance.
The Rockville, Maryland, native also distiguished himself in doubles play, racking up a school record 95 wins.
