Former Emory standout Mark Odgers joined Eagles coaching staff as an assistant in 2005.

During his playing career at Emory, Odgers became the program's first eight-time All-American while claiming Rookie and Senior National Player of the Year honors as chosen by the ITA.
When he graduated, Odgers held the school record for career doubles wins (93) and was third for career doubles win percentage (.762). He ended 10th on the Emory all-time list with 69 career singles wins.

In addition to his accolades, Mark on the 2003 national championship team.

Odgers graduated from Emory in 2005, majoring in economics with a minor in history.  In 2009, he obtained his master's degree in Sports Administration from Georgia State.
